The Story Behind WWFP
WWFP was founded in 1982 by Dr. Sophie Lagueux and Dr. Bernard Pare in Mt Juliet, TN with the mission of bringing high-quality primary care to Wilson County, where it was desperately needed.
While the practice started as a small independent practice with 2 Doctors, WWFP successfully grew over the years by adding 7 additional advanced providers (both Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants) and further increasing access through walk-in availability for the community. WWFP formally opened an adjacent walk-in clinic in 2001, to increase access across more hours of the week and better serve the community's more acute healthcare needs. As part of WWFP’s comprehensive primary care model, the practice has invested in convenient on-site services such as X-ray, EKG, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory.
